Lab Director
Sunhae Sul, Ph.D
Sunhae is an Associate Professor of Psychology and the director of Social Neuroscience Lab at Pusan National University. She graduated from Seoul National University with a M.A. in biological psychology and a Ph.D. in social psychology. Upon completing her post-doctoral training in neuroeconomics at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, she worked as a research professor and a post-doctoral researcher at Korea University and at Dartmouth College.
Sunhae’s research centers around psychological and neural mechanisms underlying social decision making and moral judgment and the effect of prosocial (and anti-social) behaviors on well-being at both individual and societal levels, with a multidisciplinary approach combining classical experimental social psychology, computational modeling, and functional and anatomical neuroimaging. She is also interested in identifying neural markers of individual and cultural differences.
